Land Stewardship

Land Stewardship in our rapidly urbanizing community is central to the developmentand operation of Farm Campus. Stewardship of the land involves not only conserving land for the future—it also requires a focus on the health and natural resources of the ecosystem—maintaining healthy soils, clean water, using sustainable agricultural practices, and providing opportunities to connect with the land through the healing garden, open space, and forest trails.

“I try to make my farm as sustainable as possible. One of the big parts of that is not using any chemicals. It creates a lot of habitat for pollinators, native animals and wildlife in general.”  — Jason Bdzula, Wolfberry Hawthorn Farm
